Help Khaled Al-Amoudi and his family reach safety

Hello, my name is Eddie, I'm a college student from California and I'm raising funds on behalf of Khaled Al-Amoudi and his family of seven.

They are currently stuck in Gaza in the most horrific crisis the world has seen in a long time. They've lost their home and everything they have. It's nothing short of a nightmare situation and they need all the help they can get to begin to rebuild their lives. The rest of Khaled's family has asked not to appear in photos for privacy reasons, but several members of his family have urgent health needs that cannot be attended to in Gaza. Every minute and every dollar counts.

Here's the message from Khaled:

I have lost my home and my job, and I am now homeless and jobless. As a family of seven, we are desperate to leave Gaza, as there is nothing left for us here. However, the high costs associated with moving make it impossible for us to do so. We do not know what to do or who to turn to for help. In light of these challenges, we humbly ask for your support in our GoFundMe campaign to help us secure the funds needed to move and provide vital medical care for my ailing mother and my sister who has diabetes.

We lost everything, I lost my job and my house. Also, our life before was beautiful. That's why I created the donation link. I hope to reach my goal.

Khaled's and his family are good friends of another family I met through instagram and have talked extensively with. They're trying to make sure that all the families in the camp they live in can get the help they need, so they asked me to set up this fundraiser on behalf of one of the families who hasn't been able to get help yet. The funds will be used for food and medicine, and when the border crossing opens up and it's possible to evacuate, the funds will be used to get Khaled's family to safety. The funds will be transferred to them via paypal.
