Help Khalid, Sondos and their children rebuild their lives

Hi, my name is Jon and I have started this fundraiser on behalf of my wife’s brother, Khalid.

Before the war Khalid is an accountant lived a happy and comfortable life with his wife Sondos and 2 son's ( their second son was born in this war ) in a beachfront house in Gaza city.

Before the war Khalid worked hardly for 8 years to own his house ( apartment ) that he was dreaming of, which he bought it with the help of his father, by a monthly installments paid over two years, this apartment costs about $90,000.

After the army orders to evacuate the northern Gaza Strip, Khalid and his family had to evacuate their house in northern Gaza and move to the south, they were left with nothing apart from the clothes on their back, carrying the bare minimum of essential, hoping to get back to it after a short while, only to be surprised after 5 months of dreaming of returning that their house had been razed to the ground and completely destroyed in an airstrike ! And in Gaza there is no such thing as house insurance.

They are now living as a refugees in southern Gaza, sharing a room in an abandoned nursery with Khalid’s aunt’s, cousins and extended family, in a difficult living conditions.

I think the difference is clearly evident to you between their previous and current lives, as they now have the least life’s necessities after they were living in that comfortable, warm house.

Look at Walid, their first son, how happy he was celebrating his first and second birthdays in his warm house, and look at him in his third birthday during this satanic war, but anyway thanks to God that they all remain alive !

And this is Zein, who was born during the war on 6th of Dec/2023, he was born in difficult circumstances in terms of the lack of clothes and the high prices of diapers. I wonder what the future of these two children will be without

a warm home, without work for their father, and without good education or hospitals.

Not only this, but the office of Khalid’s company has been stopped forever as a result of war, leaving them with no house, no job, no income and no way of rebuilding their life. And he doesn’t have money to rebuild their house in Gaza, let alone his company or the comfortable life style he worked so hard for before the war.

We are launching this campaign to raise funds help Khalid and his family to get out of this hell and help their children live a decent life away from wars, start the long process of rebulding their life, raising funds to be able to evacuate to Egypt (which costs $5k for Khalid, $5k for Sondos, &2.5 for Walid, $2.5 for Zein) and start a new life there.

POV: the war has been going on for over a year! and left about 50,000 martyrs and 100,000 wounded and this number is constantly increasing!

Each pound matters in times like this, and Khalid and his family would be enourmously grateful for any contributions at all.
