Help Kharkiv Regional Hospital in Ukraine
Donation protected
My name is Daniel Afonin and I am an Anesthesiology resident physician at one of the major hospital systems in New York City. Today I am reaching out to you to ask for help in supporting my home country of Ukraine, currently under siege.
Dr. Rostyslav Chaplynskyy, head of anesthesiology at the Kharkiv Regional Clinical Hospital, is working around the clock on operating on the wounded, both military personnel and civilians hurt in the shelling. There are 14 operating tables at the hospital with only 4 anesthesia machines to be shared amongst them. If we meet our goal, we will be able to finance the purchase of 1-2 additional machines. If not, the collected money will be used to finance analgesics/sedatives and other supplies for the hospital. Dr. Vadim Firdman, a childhood friend of Dr. Chaplynskiy, has spearheaded the effort of collecting donations stateside. If you're reticent about donating to one of the big humanitarian relief funds because you don't know where your money is truly going, I promise you that donating to this will play a direct role in saving real, innocent people in Kharkiv. Any amount helps. The entire amount collected via GoFundMe will be transferred to Dr. Firdman who will be personally wiring the money to Dr. Cahplynskyy in Kharkiv.
Any amount that you can spare WILL MAKE A DIFFERENCE. If you have any questions at all please don't hesitate to contact me. Thank you for your support.
