Help Kholood !!!

Hello, my name is Kholood Smeer, and I am reaching out to you with an urgent plea to help my family escape the horrors we are facing in Gaza. I am a 29-year-old physiotherapist, currently living in northern Gaza with my husband Khaled, a dedicated paramedic, our two-year-old daughter Amira, my mother, and my younger brother. I gave birth to a baby a week ago, and each day here is a fight for survival.

Just one week before the war began, my brother Mohamad, a medical student studying in Cairo, returned to Gaza for a family visit. Shortly after, our home was reduced to rubble in a bombing, and our lives were shattered. Now, we are left with nothing—no home, no security, and no way out on our own.

Life in Gaza has become unbearable. Food and basic supplies are nearly impossible to find, and prices are soaring beyond our reach. Each day, we face the fear of not knowing if we’ll have enough to survive. We have lost our home, and we are desperate for a chance to escape this nightmare and start again in safety.

We are humbly asking for $22,500 to help us leave Gaza and secure a safe future for our family. This amount will cover essential travel and resettlement costs to get us out of harm’s way and allow us to rebuild a life where our children can be safe and free from fear.
