Help Kia Recover from Traumatic Spine Injuries

My daughter Kia is in ICU due to a horrible car accident near Philly that currently has her paralyzed from the waist down.

She was the passenger getting a ride home from her coworker when the driver lost control of the car on the highway causing it to flip a few times resulting in severe injuries to her spine, neck and lungs. We are sooooo grateful she’s ALIVE pretty sure wearing her seatbelt saved her life.

Driver was able to walk away from the accident with minor injuries but she’s mentally and emotionally overwhelmed with what has happened. We just found out that the driver has no license, registration or insurance.

My daughter has a long but not impossible road to recovery. She’s feeling all of her feelings from thankful to scared to “why me?!”. She is able to talk to us and is in overall good spirits. Send virtual hugs, healing positive energy and prayers to Kia.

Please help with the following:

Encourage anyone who may be driving without the proper paperwork to please do the right thing..share our story with them and help them with any obstacles they face getting their license, registration or insurance..it’s rough out here. AND WEAR YOUR SEATBELT EVERY SINGLE TIME YOU ARE THE DRIVER OR PASSENGER.

While she’s healing, we need some help covering her expenses. We don't know how much she'll need in total but know this will alleviate some of the burden for the immediate needs listed below. She's still in ICU and is unable to use her fingers, is being monitored for lung capacity, and is unable to move anything below her waist due to the severe nerve damage caused by this accident.
