Help kids who witnessed murder of their parent
Donation protected
On October 22, 2020, two days after his 40th birthday, Dr. Lijun Xuan was suddenly taken from us. He was brutally murdered at his home and his wife was severely injured during the same incident. Their 8-year-old daughter Lucy and 4-year-old son Joseph witnessed this atrocity in their house at Auburn Alabama. Lijun was pronounced dead at the scene, and his wife Zhengzheng Wu's blood pressure was 20/16 when she arrived the hospital. And then she remained in ICU for one week with over 50 stabbing wounds. It was a true miracle that Mrs Wu has come back to life, but she will face tremendous financial pressure as her husband passed away.
Lijun was the epitome of a giving, caring Father, Friend, Mentor and Model Citizen. He was an avid gardener and shared his produce liberally with friends. At appropriate times, he would not ask if someone needed assistance, but rather he would just show up with the assistance. The spontaneity of his giving spirit extended in equal measure to his intellectual contributions. He was exemplary in his ability to shine a bright beacon in the most immediate directions leading to discovery, showing the way for both himself and teammates. In all things, Lijun was patient, he was kind, he did not envy, the was steadfast, he did not boast, he protected others, he hoped for the success of others, he kept no record of wrongdoing, and he was not easily angered.
We are heartbroken over the loss of Lijun, our thoughts are with his family. Lijun’s wife is a stay-at-home mom without stable income. To help this devastated family, we are raising money to cover educational and childcare costs for Lucy and Joseph. Any contribution will be greatly appreciated, and we trust the power of community support.
