Offer kids highest quality software engineering classes

My name is Stojan Bacev and I live in Providence Village with my two middle school age daughters. I am a Principal Software Engineer at Raytheon, I’m a small business owner, and I serve on the Providence Village Town Council. Last year I opened a coding school, called PYE Club. Our school is much different than the coding centers in the area. Here kids learn real life STEM skills taught by real Engineers. We foster a professional setting, where we don’t only learn, but we practice mutual respect, teamwork and proper behavior. Our way of teaching, and environment, enables students to perform better, and be better prepared for college and life. Our curriculum and way of teaching has been recognized by UNT College of Engineering, and major tech companies that have offered their cooperation and support to our school.

This summer we are launching Summer Camps for kids ages 10-14. Students will learn about electrical circuit, electronics, coding, robotics and automation. They will get a taste of multiple disciplines in Engineering, and see if it's something they would like to pursue in the future. They will solve real life problems, and design solutions that can be implemented in the real world. We foster a professional setting that is also fun. We don’t only learn, but we practice mutual respect, teamwork and proper behavior.

We have been promised grants and financial support from colleges, the state, and private companies for summer of 2025 to hopefully make these camps free to the students. It is too late to apply for the grants for this summer, but it is crucial to make the camps successful so we can qualify for funding for next summer. Our classes our taught by real Engineers and we use quality equipment so we can expose students to many engineering principles during the course of the week.

One week long camp of 20 students, 9am-4pm, costs $8000 or $400 per kid. We are trying to lower the cost to the students by asking the local community for help. We hope with your help we can provide a fun, learning experience for our children, and create the new generation of Engineers!
