Help Kierra and Andrea Rebuild After Helene

Our beloved colleague Kierra Nogara is 8 months pregnant, and Hurricane Helene just rendered her homeless after extensive flooding completely overwhelmed her house.

We are coming together as part of her extended community to raise emergency funds. Donations will be used to:

1. Help her find reliable housing ASAP. Flood waters completely covered all of the floors and saturated beds and furniture.

2. Replace the essential baby care items she will need in a matter of weeks. Kierra had just had her baby shower and had just received her registry items. Many of these were still in boxes on the floor, waiting to be unpacked: car seat, bassinet, crib, stroller, baby books and bookshelves, clothes and a changing table.

3. Cover the costs of rebuilding her home that insurance won't. Flood insurance will only cover a portion of the damage. Rebuilding much of her home including floors, electrical, baseboards and walls. Household appliances like the fridge, dishwasher, washer and dryer were all ruined.

Kierra has poured so much of herself into building powerful relationships and community, we are proud to come together to help replace what was damaged.
