Help Hope in Hoop’s Provide Basketball Gear for Kids

Welcome to my GoFundMe! My name is Kiersten Rurka and I am a 16-year-old girl from Bel Air, MD. As I sat in church one Sunday, I was told about others' kingdom assignments, this being something that God leads you to do for other people. I recently found mine. I have been playing basketball now for around 8 years and I have never looked back since the first day I picked up a basketball.

As a kid, I struggled with mental health, making friends, and feeling a lack of purpose until I decided I was going to circle my life around the sport, and to this day, I still have no regret. The great opportunities and chances this sport can give someone are invaluable, especially to a young kid; it can change their life forever. This is why I believe no kid should be denied the opportunity to play basketball because of their financial, family, or physical situation.
