Help Kiki Heal: Urgent Vet Funds Needed

Hi all, the last 24 hours have been a lot. My 6 year old sweet Kiki has suffered a pretty bad looking laceration on her right front arm from breaking a glass bowl off the counter yesterday.

I have had Kiki since she was about 2 or 3 weeks old and have never had something like this happen to her, so I’m worried! We spent the night at an animal hospital here to get her looked at. Her laceration is about an inch long, and I want to get her cleaned and stitched up for proper healing.

The need for this GoFundMe comes into play to help cover the cost of sutures and sedation. The ER hospital I originally took her to overnight quoted almost $2000 but a vet will be close to half of that. Just getting Kiki checked out and on some pain killers for the moment cost me $200. I have found a place near by that can take Kiki for an initial examination of $75 then the rest will be determined!

I’ve considered surrendering/rehoming her to a shelter out of the fear it won’t heal properly if I can’t pay for the sedation/sutures. The problem with rehoming is that no one in my area from SPCA to shelters is able to take any cats at this time of the year as I’ve called many. I really just want the best possible healing for her but currently I don’t have enough to get her treated professionally nor am I able to take her to a shelter to be treated so I’m utterly lost. At the moment we are going with home care despite how difficult but please donate if you can!
