Help Kim Beat Cancer Costs

My Daughter, Kimberly Ann Jisa-Patton, on April 11th, 2018, was diagnosed with Adenoid Cystic Carcinoma Cancer. This was after over 2 years of doctors saying her problem was “overactive salivary glands”. This rare cancer, which is in the back of the left side of her tongue, amounts to only 1% of all Head & Neck cancers. I just returned from Tulsa, Ok. & the Cancer Treatment Centers of America, Where she underwent a 16 hour operation that removed the left side of her tongue and all of here lymph nodes in her neck. She had a feeding tube installed before the surgery and her treatment with radiation could last for weeks if not months. After that she has to have another surgery to remove a horseshoe shaped tumor that is growing around her colon. The Doctors in Tulsa are very optimistic, but the road to recovery is long with no guarantees.
On top of this, she will be off work during this time, and the bills are mounting by the day. Even with insurance, the out of pocket & co-pays are in the Thousands of Dollars. She has two children, one in High School & one in College, and a house payment with bills mounting by the day. Kimberly turned 48 on May 10th, but to me she is still the determined little girl that I taught to ride a bike, and the young woman who used that determination to work her way through college. She survived an ugly divorce to become a proud single mother that has always done everything she could for her children and is not afraid to work, but she needs all the help she can get to not only fight this horrible disease, but also keep from drowning in debt & losing all she has worked for in her life. So thank you for any and all help that you give.
