HELP KIM CONTINUE ON HER ROAD TO RECOVERY

Hi, I am Cindy Collman. My cousin, Mike Arola and I are starting a GoFundMe account for my sister, Kim Jones (Selinski/Kangas). She suffered a serious traumatic brain injury due to a fall down her basement stairs 20 months ago. Initially she was paralyzed on her left side. She has regained limited use of her left arm and hand, but is unable to walk. After 4 major brain surgeries, Kim is now using a wheelchair and doing well with improved cognizance. She has been in and out of the hospital, multiple nursing homes and rehabilitations facilities since the accident.

Her husband, Bernie, has recently added on to his home to accommodate Kim's disabilities with hopes to move her home permanently with home care assistance. To make this transition possible and to continue Kim's rehabilitation, they desperately need a van that can be converted to wheelchair accommodation. Currently Bernie has to lift Kim into his old SUV from and to her wheelchair to transport her to appointments which is not healthy for him. Bernie has been a saint, caring for Kim while continuing to work despite his senior years.

We would like to raise $40,000 to help Kim and Bernie purchase a handicap accessible van. Any amount you donate will be greatly appreciated.
