Support Kim Wells During Her Grief

Thank you for taking the time to read about Kim's story.
Please consider financially helping Kim Wells, as she is currently experiencing financial struggles. On December 4th, her beloved husband, Wayne Wells, passed away due to COVID-19. He was diagnosed on November 13th, and passed away exactly 3 weeks later. With Wayne's sudden passing, there was not enough time to think or plan for the financial impact it would have on Kim.
Wayne was the LIFE of the party. He brought more love and laughter to a room than can be fully explained in words. He loved everyone that he encountered and as soon as you met him, he called you a friend. His loss has shaken our family to the core and broke our hearts. Numbness. Disbelief. Shock. Anger. Confusion. We have felt it all. Wayne was here with us, alive and well 2 months ago, and now he is gone. The gravity of that weighs heavily on all of us.
Wayne and Kim both contributed to their monthly bills as a joint unit. With Wayne's passing, Kim is now faced with handling the mortgage and all other monthly bills alone. She has been a devoted Wal-Mart employee for over 20 years. She continues to work there, but her salary alone is not enough to cover her monthly expenses. We are in the process of remortgaging her home to help bring down her monthly payments, but this also means that she will now take on a 30 year loan as a recently widowed 61 year old woman. We have looked to see if there are grants or funds that we can apply for on her behalf, but many grants/funds help families with children, or organizations. We have not been able to find any assistance that will help Kim with her immediate needs, but we are going to continue searching for anything that can help.
The amount we are asking for ($25,000) would help her for a few months, while trying to handle affairs with the sudden loss of her soul mate. Wayne & Kim have spent their lives together showing kindness and selflessness to those around them. They are known for helping out anyone who needs it, even if it set them back financially. As a family, we ask that you please consider donating any amount that you might be able to spare. We realize that times are tight for everyone. Any amount means a lot to Kim. If you are aware of grants or funds that we can submit applications to for help, please let us know. Every dollar adds up and is much needed right now.
Above all of this, no matter what your beliefs are, please pray for Kim and send her good vibes. Grief cannot be explained to someone who hasn't walked that path. Please pray that God can give her the strength that she needs for each day and that she will have peace knowing that God will provide. We thank you for anything that you can do to provide for her from the depths of our souls.
Sincerely,
The Coldwell/Sallam/Shakran/Wells/Wolford Families (Wayne & Kim's Wolf Pack)
