Help Kim DeVries beat breast cancer!

Add this to the list of things I never wanted to write. Chances are, if you’ve found this page you’re either Kim’s friend/family/coworker or you know about her from one of those people. Thanks for stopping by and we appreciate every donation that comes her way.

As for me, I’m Becca Sosa - Kim’s longtime best friend. Sometime just over a month ago, Kim started to notice some changes to her right breast. Her doctor ordered a mammogram and ultrasound where they found 2 tumors. After several scans and a biopsies, it was confirmed to be breast cancer. Invasive Lobular Carcinoma, grade 2, Er+/PR+.

Kim and her beautiful family live in a small town at the top of Arizona called Page. In order for her to get the best medical treatment available she will be traveling frequently from Page to the Phoenix area. This is unfortunately not cheap, nor convenient. She is lucky enough to have employer sponsored health insurance; however, her out of pocket maximum is $12k and traveling back and forth is a minimum of $200/trip.

Kim is an outstanding person with a big heart. She is the backbone of her family, and while she is strong and ready to fight this - finances will become concerning very quickly.
