Help Kim Fight Stage Four Leukemia

I’m Shaina Goodwin and I’m raising funds for my Aunt Kim Caron, as she faces stage four Chronic Lymphocytic Leukemia (CLL).
 
On August 16, 2022 Kim went to the hospital struggling with panic attack like symptoms and within a matter of hours was diagnosed with stage four cancer (CLL). They administered 4 units of blood before sending her off to a larger hospital. The very next day she began chemotherapy and now requires daily chemo pills and monthly intravenous treatments.

She has taken the diagnosis in stride. Cancer can’t rock our girl! She’s kept a strong, positive attitude and a resilient sense of humor.

Unfortunately, finances have been an issue as the treatments have left her drained, in need of rest, and unable to work. Though she has applied for disability, we can’t predict when that will be approved.

I’m writing to ask for financial assistance to help with living expenses such as food, housing, and transportation. Donations of any size are so greatly appreciated and if you could share this fundraiser with your own friends and community it would be a big help.

That being said, she is going through one of the most unimaginable battles right now and can use our support. If you want to reach out, messages of love are always appreciated.

Let's take some of this burden off of her shoulders and send healing thoughts and positivity as she takes on cancer. I'll be posting updates as they come.
