Help Kim get top surgery!!

Hi!! My name is Kim and I am going to get top surgery on Sept 11th 2023! I am very lucky that my territory is paying for the surgical costs and the flights for me and my partner to go down for the surgery, but unfortunately there are still a lot of costs associated with this procedure!

While medical travel pays for the flights, and theoretically gives us a per diem, we still have to pay up front for any accommodation and food costs. Further, the per diem doesn't even cover the hotel costs for both of us! And we will need to be there for about a week to remove the dressings post surgery.

We are also moving to a new place days before having to leave for surgery, and this move will cost us a bit of money as well.

On top of all this, I will need to take at least a month to heal, if not longer. While my workplace is very accommodating, and I hope I heal quickly, I still will be unable to lift anything above 10 lbs for the first month, and its possible I will need an extra month on top of that for healing, especially with my pre-existing conditions like fibromyalgia. So, I will be losing wages from not working, and I will need some help to stay financially stable during this time!
