Help Kim Regain Her Health and Life

We are trying to raise funds for medical treatment for our niece, Kim Strnad, of San Antonio, Texas. She is severely ill. She has severe environmental illness, chemical sensitivity, pesticide poisoning and mold poisoning. She is trapped in her house and cannot even go outside the house due to severe neurological reactions when she breathes outdoor air pollution.
Kim needs medical treatment and equipment but is not able to get it from conventional doctors. There are doctors who can treat her, but they do not take insurance. She has been referred to a treatment center in Dallas, Texas--the Environmental Health Center --that can treat her, but treatment is expensive and patients must pay for travel and lodging while they are being treated. There are numerous specialists, such as Dr. Neil Nathan and Dr. Victoria Chang, who could help her, but again they don't take insurance.
Kim lives with her elderly mother, whom Kim had been taking care of up until the last couple of years. Kim is now so ill, however, that she cannot help her mother or even have people in the house, nor can she go out because she has severe reactions. She struggles to breathe and has severe pain and seizures 24 hours per day.
Kim can be saved but she needs appropriate medical attention as soon as possible. With funding, she could attend the medical treatment center in Dallas, where the doctors have experience with patients who have environmental illness, pesticide exposure and chemical sensitivity. Without treatment, Kim will not recover.
When Kim was well she helped to lower the pet overpopulation by spaying and neutering cats in the community. Along with helping her mother, Kim helped her disabled brother with his needs until he passed. When she gets well she aspires to help and advocate for others with similar health conditions.
We are open to hearing about other resources if anyone knows anything about treating these types of complicated patients. Please consider contributing to help Kim get the treatment she so desperately needs to be able to partake in life again! Thank you and God bless you!!
