Help Kim & Tim Rebuild Their Lives
Donation protected
Hi, our names are Robert, Sam, Tyler, Steve and Andy and we are fundraising for our parents Kim and Tim Erbe of Macedon, NY.
At around 6pm on Thursday, March 31st, 2022, our parents were having dinner at home after a long day at work. Suddenly, their next-door neighbor ran to their front door to tell them their house was on fire. Acting quickly, they escaped the burning home. They left behind all personal belongings, phones, wallets and IDs behind. Even their winter coats were left. Within minutes, their house was engulfed in flames and burning down quickly. The surrounding neighborhood came together to watch as emergency services responded to the scene. Within a half-hour the fire had taken their home, vehicles, possessions and memories. In a matter of minutes, the community watched as all Kim and Tim had worked for was reduced to ashes in the blaze.
Kim and Tim survived with their lives and their sense of humor intact! Only a few years from retirement, they were looking forward to enjoying a newfound sense of freedom in the coming years ahead. Now that this tragedy has upended their lives in the short term, they will need some assistance while they work to rebuild. While insurance will take care of replacing their possessions and home, we are asking that anyone who is in a place to donate now can help them with the cost of food, clothing and other essentials over the coming six months. Kim and Tim are a hardworking couple who would never ask help of others, even in a time of need. This is why we are asking for help on behalf of our parents, today.
We love our parents deeply and want to see that they are well taken care of in the coming months. As they rebuild and move on from this tragedy, financial help of any kind is greatly appreciated. Whether it be $5, $10 or $25 dollars, we thank you from the bottom of our hearts.
Kindly,
