Help Kim Walsh Fight Cancer
Donation protected
Hello, we are a small and mighty group of family and friends of Kim Walsh, our incredibly strong, loyal, sister and headstrong friend from Whitman-Hanson and Plymouth MA who has been fighting a rare form of bone cancer called Chondrosarcoma.
Kim has endured great physical pain and constant emotional distress during her brave journey since late last year. In May, she had extremely high-risk spine surgery where a cancerous tumor was not fully removed and has now metastasized. Kim’s cancer cannot be cured by radiation or chemotherapy and the tumor is continuing to increase in size. Last week, she had an additional surgery to decrease size of the tumor in an effort to reduce her back pain. She is collaborating with her team of doctors at MGH on a treatment plan & pain management path that enables her to experience the best quality of life for her that is possible.
Kim has been unable to work for a long duration creating a significant financial burden that is impacting her both emotionally and physically. Kim is well-known for her warm, sparkling blue eyes, her super witty character and her exceptional loyalty to all things good. She is a remarkable, self-less woman who is a friend to many. Kim is someone who lights up a room. Her presence and personality always create joy and laughter. We are asking for your support as we hope to alleviate her financial stress and allow her to focus on her treatment, healing, and spending precious, quality time with her family and friends.
The funds raised will cover out-of-pocket medical bills, specialized treatments, and essential living expenses.
Thank you for your consideration, generosity and kindness. Every donation will make a difference with helping Kim and no amount is too small. If you can’t contribute at this time, a share with your family and friends would mean the world to us. And please, continued thoughts and prayers for a positive outcome.
Kim is remaining strong and determined to continue her fight against this cancer!
Let’s fight with her and for her!!
