Hey Everybody! Thank you for taking the time to click on this link. This is Kimberly Ramirez, a very good friend and former student of my mother in law Lynda. Kim was diagnosed with a very rare form of Granular Cancer one year ago. Doctors have tried surgery and chemotherapy, however, both have failed to provide results, and the cancer has spread. Kim’s doctor says that, at this point, if they cannot find an effective treatment, she has only about a year or two left to live.
She was introduced to new options in the form of clinical trials. However, this will require her to pay out of pocket. I, along with her closest friends and family are asking for any help to raise money in hopes that she can be matched with a clinical trial that will stop the cancer from spreading further. It is in her lungs and liver. She is a very positive and hopeful person. Kim hopes to return to her job working with children with autism.
Kim is 31 years old and recently married, and she is a 24/7 caregiver to her young sister who has Cerebral Palsy. She has people who depend on her such as her younger siblings and mother. Any help you can provide would be greatly appreciated! Kim is a very humble woman and was very hesitant in asking for help. She is very young and now a graduate of USC. She has her whole life ahead of her. Any amount that you are able to donate will be appreciated.
