Help Kimberly Thompson and Family

Kimberly S. Thompson was a student, graduate, and employee of Gretchen Everhart School in Tallahassee, FL. She is a beloved daughter, sister, fiancé, coworker and friend to many. Although graduating some years ago, she is still very much active in the WAVE choirs, Special Olympics; where she has played tennis, basketball and bocce. 

On 11/25/2020, Kimberly was admitted to the hospital for COVID-19 symptoms.  Kimberly remained at Tallahassee Memorial Hospital  in ICU where she was in a drug induced coma. She was placed on a ventilator, had to receive a tracheostomy and was paralyzed to reduce stress on her body. On 12/24/2020, Kim was discharged to Select Specialty Hospital; where she remains. 

Since has made tremendous progress but still have a long way to go. She is no longer on the ventilator, but is still oxygen dependent and has the trach in place. Kimberly is no longer testing positive for COVID and is responding positively to visitors. 

We are asking for donations and prayers as we prepare for Kimberly to be discharged home. Any donations received will go towards Kimberly's home improvements and medical expenses.
