We've held off as long as we could, but now we need your help! Donate and Help King's Camps Fight for Fitness!
Who We Are: King's Camps and Fitness is a family-owned and operated community centric gym , American ninja warrior playground, and obstacle course race (OCR) training facility for adults and kids of all abilities. We believed strongly in doing our part to flatten the curve of Covid-19 and proactively closed our doors early March to help protect the community we love. Now, four months later, our doors are still closed but we are as dedicated as ever to providing a safe (and fun!) place for children and adults to return to once we can reopen.
What We Need: King's Camps needs help bridging the financial gap caused by San Mateo County's Shelter-in-Place ordinance. Your donation to our small-business will help us remain afloat to support the physical, mental, and emotional needs of our community, as we have been doing in the last 7 years.
What Your Donation Will Be Used For: All proceeds from this campaign go to near-term rent, operating expenses (e.g., staff, utilities), and the Covid-19 onsite improvements we have made to ensure our community's safety.
A Personal Note From Mike, Owner/Founder: When I created King's Camps and Fitness 7 years ago, I did so because I wanted to create a place to support more than just my community's physical strength -- I also wanted a place people could build their emotional and mental strength. I am proud that King's Camps and Fitness is that place for so many.
If you know me, you know how much I dislike asking for help. But, I am using these extraordinary times to seek out the silver lining -- and that silver lining is YOU! I have proudly watched our community flatten the curve, stand up for injustice, and band together -- even if it's from a 6 ft distance. I know that there are many important causes that need support right now. So my wife, Jenny, and I are truly grateful for your donation of any size! (Just don't think your donation gets you out of doing burpees once we reopen.)
"Overcome Your Obstacles" is not just our gym's slogan -- it's fundamentally who we are. We know that with your help, we WILL overcome this crazy time. We thank you for your support and for keeping us in your community and your lives.
