Help Kinley Sexton Grow
Donation protected
Hi all,
Krissy and her family have been close friends of mine for many years. They are beyond loving and would give the shirt off their back for anyone. It is my hope we can now come together and show them love and support for their sweet Kinley.
Kinley is a spunky 4-year-old with an unknown condition that has dramatically delayed her growth. Kinley started her little life early being born at 34 weeks at only 3lbs. 3oz. Even though Kinley exceeded all her doctor’s expectations by being in the NICU for only 19 days, the doctors still haven't been able to determine the cause of her failure to eat. Kinley had a G-tube placed at 15 months to help her get the nutrition she needed to thrive.

To this day, at 4-years-old, Kinley weighs in at only 22-lbs and 34-inches tall. These are both less than the 1st percentile in growth and weight for her age. Krissy and Larry started genetic testing in an attempt to find answers for Miss Kinley, and sadly, the first set failed to show what her condition may be. Additional testing, unfortunately, is not fully being covered by insurance.
Being defeated and Kinley sh
owing no signs of weight gain or growth the past year, her parents are reaching out to the Gillette Children's Specialty Healthcare physicians after hearing from friends in a support group that Gillette treats children like Kinley with similar growth issues. Plans to pursue this will happen at the end of April.
Ongoing medical and travel expenses that have occurred throughout the years' have put an enormous financial hardship on her family.
Raised funds would go towards their financial expenses, including medical testing, treatments, genetic testing, and other costs that may arise in attempts to find a diagnosis for Kinley. This plea for help does not come easy for Krissy and Larry, but it is our hope we can find the cause of Kinley’s condition to give her the future she
deserves.
We appreciate any support you can provide. If you cannot donate, we would appreciate it if you would be able to share Kinley’s story.
