Help Kirsten Attend Medical Illustrators Conference

As many of you know, Kirsten is working towards a BFA in general art with a minor in biology. Her hope is to become one of the nine students nationwide to be accepted into the medical illustration grad program at Augusta University after she graduates. The competition for those nine spots is intense.

Kirsten has been given the opportunity to take a trip this July to the Association of Medical Illustrators conference in Grand Rapids, Michigan. This would look amazing on her application for the grad program, and the information and experience she will receive will be invaluable to her. The cost for her to attend this conference and participate in the amazing workshops will be around $2,600.00. Her drawing professor was able to obtain a $1,000.00 grant for Kirsten to make this trip. She works part time on the weekends at a café in Aiken and will save up as much as she can to go towards this trip. We would normally give her the difference, but we are moving Dalton and his family from Nebraska to South Carolina and repairing the home where they will live, which is proving to be rather expensive. Kirsten greatly appreciates any help she can receive to help her pay for this amazing opportunity.
