Help Kittens with Deformed Legs & Desexing

We had a bit of a different trapping job last night. The location was very different to what we normally deal with and well, putting it simply, it was a dangerous location for the cats residing there, and humans if you were not careful. Some kitties have sadly recently lost their lives.

In particular, we were asked to help 2 kittens that appeared to be munchkins. They were at even greater risk due to their stature.

Despite a very noisy and dangerous situation, the kittens were safely trapped and are now in care. After veterinary examination it was discovered that the kittens were not necessarily munchkins but they did have leg deformities including stumps, one stump having a partial pad but no real paw as such. The speed at which these little guys could move was incredible though.

Despite never having had human contact they have done well today and will get the best care possible. It is yet to be seen exactly what treatment for the legs will be needed at this point, they need to be cleaned up, given some time/monitoring and TLC which will help to establish full requirements. It is highly likely that surgical intervention will be needed for their safety and comfort along with their standard vet work.

We would also like to desex the remainder of the kitties to prevent more breeding/inbreeding as well.
