THANK YOU so much for reading this. I never thought I’d do a GoFundMe, but when my rare and aggressive cancer totally ignored radiation and chemo to keep spreading, I knew I had to change tracks and put aside all hesitations, reservations and pride and just go for it:

BACKGROUND:
In Dec 2020 I was rushed to UCSF for emergency surgery. The pathology report, released in Jan 2021, showed an unusual, aggressive Stage 3c uterine cancer. After consulting with conventional oncologists, integrative/holistic oncologists, and cancer survivors and thrivers, I opted for a combination of conventional chemoradiation and natural treatments to reduce the side effects and toxicity.
This is a very unusual cancer, and is probably a result of the drug DES my mother took when she was pregnant with me. DES causes a lifetime risk of gynecological cancers in daughters who were exposed before birth.
It’s a nasty and aggressive beast –after major surgery, 25 rounds of radiation, 2 rounds of chemo, and massive amounts of supplements, it didn’t slow.
Last week I was shocked to learn that instead of receding, it actually spread and multiplied and is now officially Stage 4.
It jumped the boundaries of radiation and ignored the chemo to spread to my lungs, pelvis, kidneys and maybe adrenals.
This crazy cancer requires fast and aggressive counteraction.
HERE’S THE PLAN AND HOW I WILL USE THE FUNDS RAISED:
After speaking with my oncologist at UCSF, who agrees that more chemo is not advised, she gave me her OK to pursue an intensive therapy in Mexico. I have committed to this course of action, also with my husband Frank’s blessing: get down to CHIPSA Hospital in Tijuana for the best combination of immunotherapy and VEGF inhibitor therapy possible.
CHIPSA (Centro Hospitalario Internacional del Pacifico, S.A.) is the original Gerson Therapy hospital, has been on the forefront of immunotherapy for decades, and is emerging as the leader in truly integrative cutting-edge cancer care.
It’s not cheap, but they offer an incredibly menu of therapies that, when layered together, has the strongest potential for slowing down this BEAST of a cancer and putting it into remission. I listed the menu of treatments at the end of this message.
Earlier this week I spoke with a lovely older lady from Nashville who had Stage 4 uterine cancer metastasized to her lungs and liver. She was in dreadful shape – in a wheelchair, overweight, standard American diet. She went to CHIPSA – and here she is 4 years later doing well.

USE OF FUNDS/ MENU OF TREATMENTS
Treatments will use all or most of the therapies below, plus funds will allow some treatments to continue at home. There is a clinic in Sebastopol where I can continue high dose Vitamin C and ozone therapy. I'll send updates of my actual treatment plan.
DC-MAX (Dendritic Cell Immunotherapy)
DC MAX -- DC - MAX Multiple studies are going on in the United States and throughout the world focusing on Dendritic cell vaccines for patients. The first FDA approved dendritic cell treatment was called Provenge, which led to a Nobel Prize being won. This treatment is now approved but at the high cost of $94,000 to the patient for 3 doses. Thus, the chemotherapy is much more potent (thus the word: potentiation), much less chemotherapy is needed, and far less side-effects are experienced.
Coley's Therapy [Mixed Vaccine]
The treatment consists of a sterile (dead) mixture of gram-positive Streptococcus pyogenes and gram-negative Serratia marcescens bacteria. Using a killed bacterial suspension, mimics an infection (producing chills and fever) and accompanying immune response, without incurring the risks of an actual infection. This coaxes the immune system to fight cancer and other disease by releasing a dendritic cell storm. This treatment was made famous by Dr. William Coley, the father of immunotherapy.
IV Ozone Therapy
Blood is drawn and Ozone is added to the drawn blood. It is then run through a UV A, B, and C light to further clean it of pathogens. The stimulation of the Ozone and UV light create a vaccine like immune response. This a powerful immuno-stimulant and is known for its antiviral effects and anti-bacterial effects.
