Help Kiwani, Kristina and Elythia Start Over

Hi, My name is Erica Perdue and I am fundraising for my dear friends Kiwani and Kristina and their beautiful 11 month old daughter, Elythia. Unfortunately many of our family and friends have lost homes due to the devastating Dixie Fire. Sadly, Kiwani and Kristina are among those who have lost it all. Without fire insurance, our friends will be starting from scratch. When the Dixie Fire tragically burned the small, historic, gold rush town of Greenville to the ground, Kiwani and Kristina's home and everything they owned burned. Luckily, they had evacuated to Quincy with their daughter and their two dogs, so their family is safe and sound. The memories, the necessary items, the comforts of their home are gone. The money that is raised will be used for lodging, food, gas, clothing, diapers, supplies for their dogs, and eventually settling somewhere again. Kristina has taught most of our kids through her amazing gymnastics program that she started in Quincy all on her own. Kiwani has worked for the county out at the Chester Airport for many years. Last September they welcomed their first baby girl, Elythia, born at Plumas District Hospital. These are our people and they love this community as much as we love them! We would love to offer as much support as possible to this incredible family and helping to ease the financial burden is one small way. Thank you in advance for whatever you are able to donate!

Additionally, Go Fund Me asks for some specifics about who I am and my relationship with Kiwani and Kristina. Kiwani and I are lifelong friends who grew up in Quincy together all the way from elementary through high school and we have shared our love of Plumas County for all those years. Kristina has been Kiwani's partner for almost 20 years now, so she and I are also lifelong friends. We have all moved back to Plumas County where we have been working and living and raising our children together.
