Help Kiwi the Cat: Medical Costs & Justice Fund
Dear Friends, Animal Lovers, and Kindhearted Strangers,
I'm reaching out with a heavy heart and an urgent plea for help. My beloved cat, Kiwi, was tragically shot by an unknown individual. This has been a devastating experience for us, both emotionally and financially.
Kiwi is more than just a pet; he is a member of our family. He has brought immense love, joy, and companionship into our lives. Seeing him suffer in pain and not knowing who did this to him has been unbearable.
What Happened
Kiwi was found injured and after rushing him to the vet, we discovered that he had been shot. The initial veterinary costs to diagnose his condition and determine the cause of his injuries have amounted to over $1500. The next crucial step for Kiwi’s health and for justice is to surgically remove the bullet.
Why We Need Your Help
Surgical Costs: The surgery to remove the bullet will cost $3500. This is vital not only for Kiwi’s health but also for ballistics testing to identify and bring the perpetrator to justice.
Extra Funds for Reward: We also aim to raise additional funds to increase the reward amount for information leading to the identification and conviction of the person responsible for this cruel act.
Support Putnam County SPCA: Any remaining funds will be donated to the Putnam County SPCA, to assist them in continuing their invaluable work in protecting and supporting animals in our community.
Total Fundraising Goal
Our goal is to raise $8500 to cover Kiwi’s medical expenses and support the reward fund.
This includes
- $5000 for immediate surgery costs.
- $2500 to enhance the reward fund.
- $1000 for the Putnam County SPCA.
Every dollar helps, and no donation is too small. Your contributions will directly aid in Kiwi’s recovery, help bring a cruel individual to justice, and continue the noble work of the Putnam County SPCA.
