Help for Retired Police K9 Klink
Donation protected
Klink had been a dedicated K9 officer for 7 years. He has climbed the ranks and won the hearts of his community and his family. Unfortunately, last year, his back legs began to give out. He could no longer completely support himself. He was taken to a veterinary hospital and diagnosed with degenerative myelopathy, an incurable, progressive disease of the canine spinal cord which will render Klink immobile without treatment and therapy. Almost as soon as he was diagnosed, he was retired, leaving Klink's partner responsible for all medical treatment and bills.
We are by no means giving up on this lively pup, he has meant so much to his community, his family, and his partner. We are hoping and looking to raise money to pay for his medical bills that were abruptly transferred to his handler as soon as possible. Klink is currently in therapy which is helping to relieve the symptoms of this disease and improve his quality of life.
Klink enjoys begging for food, barking at you when you have food, eating your food, eating anything, drinking from a garden hose, and cuddling. He has been such an amazing and important addition to this family and we are so grateful for the support we have received through this and for the support we are going to receive.
Thank you and God bless![](https://d2g8igdw686xgo.cloudfront.net/38091700_1553802467961053_r.jpeg)
