Help Support Knox Derringer in His Battle With Stage 4 Pancreatic Cancer

Dear Friends, Family, and Caring Strangers,

I am reaching out to you to ask for your assistance for my dearest friend Knox who was recently diagnosed with Metastatic Pancreatic Cancer (Stage 4).

For those of you who are lucky enough to know Knox, I don’t have to tell you that to know him is to adore him! He has always known how to light up a room and make everyone around him laugh. His quick wit and generosity with both kind words and compliments wins over anyone who meets him. I’ve watched him charm many hospital staff over the last few weeks, whether he realizes he is doing so or not - to the extent that I have had many of them comment to me about how well liked he is there – which is a testament to his strength of character because even though he has been feeling like crap (both physically and emotionally), he does not let that effect the way he treats others, nor has he lost his sense of humor!

Knox has been given the option to do chemotherapy to give him some additional precious time with his loved ones and his beloved pets, but he has already had to have one surgery, and he has been hospitalized for the better part of the past few weeks, and while we are doing everything we can to support Knox emotionally and physically, the financial burden that comes with a diagnosis like this is overwhelming. Hospital bills and cancer treatments are not cheap. In addition to that, he has also not been able to work, so he needs assistance with day to day living expenses such as rent, utilities, groceries and other essentials.
