My 6 year old girl had an unexpected illness. I’ve taken her to the emergency vet and they said she needs life saving surgery to remove her uterus. They found an infection that they need to urgently remove. Bloodwork and X-rays alone were $600. The deposit is 3300 just to get her checked in for surgery and a payment of 1500-2000 (with no unexpected complications) afterwards to take her home. Vet bills are so unexpected and incredibly high.
