In 2017, Nikolai Zverev was prenatally diagnosed with an unsurvivable disease, complex congenital heart defect (single ventricle with coarctation of the aorta).


The boy underwent his first surgery on the sixth day of his life, on September 1, 2017. He had the second surgery three and a half months later. Now Nikolay suffers from hypoxia, his saturation does not exceed 75-80%. It is highly important to have the third heart surgery before he is four, that is, in this year.

This operation is very difficult, only prof. Pedro J. del Nido of Boston Childrens Hospital  has a confirmed methodology and skills  to perform it, which can completely cure our boy, giving his heart a proper anatomical appearance and functionality.
