Help Kory Barton

Hi, my name is Kelly, I am Korys mother. Kory was flown to Baptist and admitted to the Cancer ICU on November 28th this is his 3 rd time this year.

Kory has Leukemia and he’s been fighting it since 2016, But this time he hit his finger with a hammer and he was trying to release pressure to dull the pain. While doing that he caused an infection that ran rapid in his body, making him Septic. He has pneumonia and it’s so bad that they have him intubated and the vent is doing the work…they also have him completely paralyzed, this is so they have total control of his body in order to better help him.

He’s been this way since December the 5th we really don’t know what the outcome is going to be how long this is gonna take and what kind of recovery we’re looking at. Kory has two children a daughter that is 6 and a son that is 4.

Before anything else please pray because there is power in prayer. God knows the need. I struggled with doing this GoFundMe because I don’t want anyone to ever think we’re asking for handouts. This money would be overseen by me to help pay bills provide the children with what they need and continue to pay for whatever Kory may need.

Pray about it, do what your heart tells you, everything helps. Eric and I both are staying with him ( Eric is back and forth helping with the kids). We really just need him to come out of this and get better and come home!

Life is changing rapidly. We will continue to fight with Kory every step of the way!
