Help Kris with her battle against cancer

As a young, vibrant person, Kris has enjoyed her life as a wife and a mother of two daughters. Most recently, Kris worked as a Project Coordinator for Housman’s Aluminum & Screening.

Without an explanation - and to a total surprise, her (then) husband of 7 years kicked Kris and her daughter out of their home in September 2021. He withdrew all of their savings, furniture, home goods and the dog while comfortably staying in the house.

Facing legal divorce expenses, she stepped up and got herself an apartment and worked on getting her life back in order.

However, in January 2022, Kris was diagnosed with liver and colon cancer. She has no insurance and was put on Medicaid, but learned her doctor does not accept Medicaid and will not extend chemotherapy without taking money upfront. Kris now has to seek out other medical care all on. She has depleted her retirement account, which does not even begin to cover her treatment expenses.

Kris has been unable to work for the past three months and is now in a wheelchair. She has no income and no family available to assist other than her daughter, who is working to pay the rent for the small apartment they are living in.

We have assisted her as much as possible and are now asking everyone who knows Kris to please share this information with others hoping that Kris can get the possible life-saving care she deserves in this country.
