Help Krista Beat Brain Cancer

Hi, my name is Brittany and I am Krista's niece. I am raising money to help with Krista's medical expenses. Earlier this year Krista went to her doctor for a tremor in her left hand and some difficulty with word selection (she likes to call it word salad). Om March 22, 2023, Krista recieved the devistating news that she had brain cancer. Shortly after she had a biopsy to determine the type of cancer and the stage. After a long week of waiting the results revealed anaplastic oligodendroglioma grade 3. Anaplastic oligodendrogliom is an aggressive and fast growing cancer and aggressive treatment is the only option. On May 9, 2023 Krista underwent a crainiotomy where they were able to remove most of her tumor and biopsied a smaller tumor. The portion that was inoperable is involving a portion of her brain stem. Krista is now undergoing proton radiation 5 days a week and oral chemotherapy daily to treat the inoperable portion of the tumors. She is eager to seek a second opinion at MD Anderson in Texas once her first round of chemo & radiation are complete. Krista is in this fight to win it and her 8 year old daughter Alena is her driving force. LETS HELP KRISTA BEAT BRAIN CANCER!!!
