In memory of Krista, an education fund for her 2 children
Donation protected
Its with heavy hearts that we share the passing of Krista on Sunday Oct 20, 2024. She was a beloved wife, mother, daughter, sister, and friend, who left us far too soon after a courageous battle with cancer. Krista was a light in the lives of all who knew her, and her strength, kindness, and generosity will be dearly missed.
Krista was the heart and soul of her family, always there for her loved ones with unwavering support. She was deeply devoted to her husband, Mike, and their two incredible children, ages 10 and 12. Her passion for dogs was evident in her work as a compassionate and skilled dog trainer and groomer, bringing joy to countless families and their pets.
In addition to her family and work, Krista’s commitment to her community was boundless. She was a cherished member of the school PAC, served on the board of her son’s football team, the Saanich Wolverines, supported her daughter’s Guide unit, and volunteered at the local elementary school. She gave her time selflessly to make her community a better place.
Krista had amazing skills at baking, often baking elaborate cakes for friends and family or quickly whipping up treats and desserts for any social gathering.
As we mourn her loss, we are reminded of the profound impact Krista had on all of us. Her legacy of love, compassion, and service to both people and dogs will forever inspire those who knew her.
Any funds that are raised by the Go Fund Me will go towards supporting future education for her two children.
We are reaching out to you today on behalf of Krista and her family, who are facing one of life's toughest battles - cancer.
Just a short while ago, Krista received the earth-shattering news that she is up against an aggressive form of cancer. For over a month, she's been bravely fighting in the hospital, with her loving husband, Mike, their two incredible children, ages 9 and 12, and her supportive parents by her side. The journey has been incredibly challenging for her and her family, as they navigate through the uncertainties and difficulties that come with a cancer diagnosis.
Krista is not just a friend; she is the heart and soul of her family. She has always been there for her loved ones and friends, offering unwavering support and kindness. Krista is continuously volunteering in numerous ways to make our community better, from being on the board of her son’s Football Team the Saanich Wolverines, to helping with her daughter’s Guide unit, being an active member of the school PAC, and helping at the elementary school with various activities. There is nothing that Krista won’t help with.
Now, as she faces this daunting battle, it's our turn to rally around her and show her the love and support she deserves.
The funds raised through this campaign will go towards easing the financial burden on Krista and her family during this difficult time. From medical expenses to childcare costs and everyday bills, every contribution will make a difference in helping them focus on what truly matters – Krista's recovery.
Your generosity will not only provide practical support but will serve as a source of hope and strength for Krista and her family. Together, we can make a meaningful difference in their lives and show them that they are not alone in this fight.
We are immensely grateful for any support you can offer, whether it's through a donation or by simply sharing this campaign with your network. Your kindness and compassion will have a lasting impact on Krista's journey towards healing.
Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for standing with Krista and her family during this challenging time. Your support means more than words can express.
With heartfelt gratitude,
