Help Kristen Celebrate the Memory of her Mom

My mom, Sharon, was a wonderful woman. She was strong and independent while also being generous and humble.

Recently mom had decided she was ready to move to Colorado to spend the rest of her life near me and have new adventures. Unfortunately, she was hospitalized in December with pneumonia and pulmonary embolism. She had a reaction to the blood thinners and bled out into her abdomen. The location of the bleed damaged her kidneys. After weeks of fighting in the ICU, her kidneys failed.

She passed away with all of her children with her. It was a traumatic loss, but she fought as long as she could. Funds raised will go toward offsetting travel expenses, cremation expenses, and a celebration of her life later this summer.
