Help Kristi get on her feet after surgery

Hi, my name is Laurie, and I’m setting up this fundraiser to help Kristi out while she recovers from unexpected ankle surgery. On Saturday, February 18th, she stopped by the post office in downtown Petaluma to pick up some packages. When she came out, she made it down approximately four stairs, before losing her footing and falling down to the sidewalk. She knew instantly she had broken something. Gordon took her straight to PVH emergency room, and it was there she found out she pulled all of the ligaments around her ankle, and fractured her fibula on her right leg. Kristi went in for surgery first thing this morning. She is now the proud owner of SIX new shiny screws in her ankle, and a not so pretty black boot that she will be in for a minimum of 8 weeks! She also gets to look forward to PT 2-3 times per week, as well as sporting a fancy walker around the house. All jokes aside, I’m so thankful that this is the only injury she came out with, as it could’ve been a lot worse. I’m hopeful this fundraiser will alleviate some of the medical costs as well as day to day expenses for Kristi. Any and all donations will help her while she is off of work.
