Kristin’s Story:
As many of you are aware Kristin was diagnosed with a rare disease that has been rather painful and debilitating that past 10 months. She’s gone from riding her bike daily to not being able to leave her house, bed, or even walk most days. She’s been enduring months of trying various treatments that have left her in more pain and no answers. All of her current physicians finally agreed that best step moving forward was to get her into the Mayo Clinic as soon as possible. Kristin finally got accepted into the Mayo Clinic and was rushed to see specialists this week. Unfortunately, she found out that her current health insurance will not cover any of her medical bills for the Mayo Clinic and there is a payment upfront that already exceeds Kristin’s affordability since she has also not been able to work as much due to her declining health. She’s a fighter, but it’s causing more stress having to get the funds to pay for her medical needs. She’s remaining hopeful that she will get proper care and with your support she will be able to continue seeking answers and hopefully find a treatment to help her live a more fulfilling life again.
She will never give up and in the end, will pay it forward!
