Help Kristin Henderson afford cancer treatment

Kristin Henderson followed routine care with an annual mammogram. Although she has no family history of breast cancer, two suspicious spots were found during her routine mammogram. These spots were found to be Lobular breast cancer, stage 1. Surgery and radiation treatments will be required. Going from bad to worse, a biopsy on December 7, 2021, discovered cancer in the lymph nodes. Waiting for the oncologist to learn of the next steps in treatment can only be very difficult and frightening for Kristin and her family.

 

Kristin is a valuable teammate and an asset to those she works with. Her care and concern for others let those around her feel her deep sense of compassion. She is very proud of her 2 adult children and was recently blessed with her first grandchild. Sadly, cancer has touched her family before, in 2013 her children lost their father to pancreatic cancer. So Kristin's diagnosis is particularly difficult for her and her family.
