Help Kristina's 100 years old cottage house renovation

In May 2023 we (my husband and I) bought a 100 years old cottage house in Sweden as a holiday home.

The incredibly beautiful nature and warm people there fulfilled a big dream.

Currently we are trying to renovate whatever we can. We painted ourselves the inside of the house, made table out of wooden planks, placed wood on some walls, but in order to have a good isolation during the cold winters, we need to replace several windows and main door.

The same applies for the guest house where we would be happy to be able eventually to create a cosy, warm environment for our guests.

This spring and summer I would like to continue painting the guest house and start slowly renovating the horse house and preserve it.

The costs for renovating everything we would love to are far above what we can afford, so we are feeling grateful and satisfied with any tiny change we can make to make that place comfortable and alive.

If you haven't been in Sweden yet and would like to go there for a few days and stay with us or alone...depending on the amount of people interested and our schedule, we might be able to provide you with accommodation there in the summer of 2025 and you can be our guests.
