Help Kristine Kimmler Beat Hodgkin's Lymphoma
Donation protected
Hi, my name is Lynda Hoppe, and I am fundraising for my dear friend, Kristine Kimmler. In July, Kristine was diagnosed with Stage 3 Classic Hodgkin's Lymphoma (nodular sclerosis type). The treatment for Hodgkin's is six months of chemotherapy twice a month. Luckily, she has qualified for a national study that tests the efficacy of chemotherapy and immunologic medicine. She will also be given a drug used in multiple types of late-stage cancers. She will begin treatment on Tuesday, August 30th.
Since moving to Milwaukee in February with her husband, Chris, she has worked part-time as a physical therapist in Gurnee three days a week while trying to get her Wisconsin licensure.
Needless to say, Kristine and Chris will need our support and help to make this journey easier. Everyone who has met Kristine knows she is a fighter. However, the medical expenses will be a considerable burden, especially as Kristine is not working full-time at the moment and her insurance deductible is very high. By reducing some of their economic stress, Kristine can focus all her energy on fighting and recovering from Lymphoma.
All donations will be used for medical bills and lost income. Thank you for anything you can give, including your prayers, words of encouragement or even simply sharing this post.
