Help Donate UV Boxes to Hamilton High School
Donation protected
Hi everyone! I am Kristopher Luo, a sophomore at Hamilton High School. When the COVID pandemic first hit the US in 2020, doctors and frontline workers risked their lives to provide care despite the lack of PPE at the time. I researched and came across a website, N95decon.org, that described ultraviolet light, which can kill over 99% of pathogens on a surface. Based on that research, I made over 30 homemade UV sanitizers and donated them to local hospitals, doctors, and first responders.
When school started, I contacted manufacturers to modify and redesign a portable phone-sized UV sterilization device, a process which took over six months. I finally donated 90 of these devices to my school with my salary from a summer internship, and profit from my 3D printing business. The feedback was amazing. This encouraged me to want to produce more UV sterilizers for all 300 of Hamilton's teacher and staff.
Please help me protect our school teachers and staff and bring back in-person learning safely.
