Help KSherpa Reopen after flood

Donation protected

Hi, My name is Alexander Rob and I am fundraising to help the KSherpa Dinner House reopen after the horrible flooding in Montpelier, Vermont on July 10th, 2023.

Kamal Sherpa and his brother, Sunny Singh, opened the restaurant in the Spring of 2021 offering delicious Nepalese and Indian food . They fell in love with Central Vermont and eventually bought a home in downtown Barre.

Unfortunately, both their business and their new home were flooded on July 10th and suffered severe damage.

They lost everything in the restaurant and are rebuilding from scratch. They need to raise funds to buy new restaurant equipment, restock their inventory of food, and purchase furniture.

Kamal was born in Nepal and Sunny was born in Punjab, India. They have both lived in the US for almost 10 years while seeking permanent resident status and have been waiting many years for their applications for citizenship to be approved.

Due to their current status as non-permanent residents they are ineligible for SBA Disaster Loans to rebuild their business.

Kamal and Sunny are forever grateful for any assistance that you can provide to help them reopen their restaurant and continue to serve customers in Montpelier for many years to come!

Thank you!
