Help Kumo to get his surgery
Donation protected
Hi my name is Cathy and I’m fundraising for two Medial Patella Luxation surgeries for my 2 year old cat Kumo.
Kumo was found on the street since he was only 2 weeks old with no mumma, he was about half of a palm size when he was initially found. He was then raised and bottle fed by nurses at the vet, but he still did not weight more than 450grams by 8 weeks old (normal kitten would weight just under 1 kg by 8 weeks). Kumo had been strong and resilient and is now a energetic, affectionate, and absolutely a loving gem. However, his tiny size when he was young due to lack of nutrition caused his bones to develop improperly, which led to a grade 3 Medial Patella Luxation on his left back leg, and grade 2 on the right back leg, it is a very rare condition to be seen on a cat, especially at the age of 2 years old. We absolutely love Kumo and is unwilling to give him up no matter what, however the surgery he has undergone last week for his left leg was a financial burden for us, and Kumo will likely have to go back next year for a second surgery for the right leg. My partner and I are yet to graduate from university, we are both working hard, scrapping to save up to afford Kumo’s surgery. Your help would go directly towards little Kumo’s surgery and would be greatly appreciated! We thank you from the bottom of our heart.
This is Kumo on the first week home~
