Hello Family and Friends! My name is Kya Williams and I'm running for Miss Teen Colorado!!
Recently, I was invited to compete in Miss Teen Colorado USA State Preliminary Competition. While at the State Preliminary Pageant, I will have the opportunity to be chosen as the state's representative to the Miss Teen USA National Pageants.
I would be grateful if you helped me raise money to purchase the items I need to compete in Miss Teen Colorado USA for my chance to win. More than 20-70 teens will be competing with me. This event will be televised regionally with an anticipated audience of 2 to 300,000.

If I win Miss Teen Colorado USA, I will have a greater opportunity to help the homeless here in Colorado. There are over 9,000 homeless and 2,356 of them are families with children. In 2019 the homeless population in Colorado was the 10th highest state in the United States. I have recently been a volunteer at the Samaritan House, serving homeless families. I love that place and what it is doing for the homeless community. I love the workers there and admire the love they have for their jobs. I hope one day I can start a foundation where I can provide housing for the homeless that want to get off the streets and make a living for themselves. I would also love to create a program to raise attention for kids that need a boost in confidence. I could not find what my path was and honestly, I am still working on it, but I believe that I am on the right track and that is because I found a little part of me in fashion. I started getting into styling and that is what helped with my confidence, mental health, and motivation. I would love to someday make the world a better place!
