Help Kyle Vinson, Police Violence Survivor
On July 23, 2021, Kyle Vinson, a veteran who bravely served his country as an Army Paratrooper, was brutally assaulted by Aurora, CO Police Officers John Haubert and Francine Martinez. During the attack, Haubert held a gun to Kyle’s head, choked him, and pistol-whipped his face and head 13 times while Kyle repeatedly pleaded for his life. Kyle suffered numerous blunt force blows to his head throughout the vicious beating. While the full extent of his injuries is still unknown, Kyle’s path to recovery is certain to be painful and slow.

Kyle does not have the financial ability to cover his medical treatment and living expenses. This fund has been established to help pay for Kyle’s significant medical expenses, and to ensure that he can pay for housing and food as he gets back on his feet.
Kyle recognizes that he is fortunate to have been able to walk away from this encounter. He is grateful to have survived the attack and is deeply humbled by the community’s continued support.
