Help Kyra, Matt and the girls

Hi, I am Kyra's Dad. This fundraiser is for Kyra, Matt, and their two little girls. Just over 31 years ago, Kyra came into our lives. I remember those early years and how much joy she brought to us. In May of 2021, Kyra was diagnosed with Breast cancer. Just when we hoped that journey was on the path of recovery, they discovered that her cancer had spread to her lungs. The news was devastating for us, but we are far from giving up hope.

Kyra sadly lost her struggle with cancer and passed away on July 6th, 2023. I was in Omaha when she passed quietly after this long and hard battle. She is no longer in pain, which is all we could have hoped for. I originally set this fundraiser up to enable her and the family to create ever-lasting memories. We did good and they were able to do many things. Now that she has passed friends and family are asking if there is anything we can do. How can we help? Therefore, I am putting together this fundraising effort to help them through these difficult times. Raising as much money as possible to help them is the best thing we can all do for her family. It will be used to cover childcare expenses and day-to-day living expenses, and if we raise enough money, it will go to help secure the girl's future.
