Help Lacey During Liver Adventure

 

Hi Everyone, for those whom I haven’t met in person-I am Lauren, one of Laceys many dear friends. Today (1/18) we celebrated Laceys birthday as she’s in the hospital waiting on a new liver. Another close friend brought up the question “what can we do to make her birthday special?”. None of us can give her a liver, make the transplant happen sooner, or heal her (or we would have by now)!

But the thought was can we HELP her during this time. As a realtor, she is unable to work meaning no more closings and no income coming in. Considering she has a mortgage, car payment and HAS to cover her independent (mediocre) medical insurance during this liver investigation & transplant…not to mention the extreme medical bills on their way-I’d like to try and come together to help offset some upcoming costs.

 

If you know Lacey well, you’ll know she is SUPER independent and hates asking others for help…she’s normally the one reaching out to help! I think she’d ask me to take this down if she found out what I was up to! But I thought if she isn’t already stressing about how to cover all the details—she will be soon. And instead of worrying, removing the stress of some bills while she’s down may help her heal faster.

 

I’m certainly not asking for millions, but even just a few bucks a person could really ease some worries. I’m also ONLY asking if you personally have the means. Lacey would be LIVID to know someone financially struggling pitched in.

I’ve intentionally avoided inviting family, I was hoping this would be a nice belated birthday surprise. Not only for Lacey, but also for her family who somewhat depends on her as well.
