Help Laken with Medical Expenses

Hi, my name is Claudia & i’m doing this fundraiser for my bestfriend Laken. Laken is such a strong, intelligent, caring, and so much more. Laken is such a caring person. You can be her family, friend, or a stranger and will do anything to help in any way . She has such a kind heart. So in moments like this, we would appreciate everyone who can help an any way .

On March 31st, Laken & her boyfriend were on a roadtrip to celebrate his birthday when they were involved in a head on collision in Alpine. He had traumatic head injury but recovery was amazing & was discharged April 3rd. Unfortunately, Laken’s pelvis, tailbone, and ankle were fractured in the accident.

This fundraiser is to help cover medicine expenses, her rehab & physical/occupational therapy treatment, she will be out of work for about four months & won’t be able to walk.

Her family & friends are helping in any way they can . Her 22 year old sister, Tristen, will unfortunately be out of work as well to help her get to treatment and make sure she has everything she needs. Thankfully her school let her do online but will have to travel from Austin ( their home ) to El Paso ( where Laken was transported ) . But this will also help her with traveling.

Moments like these are so hard and just a little help from everyone can do so much . We are truly thankful for everyone, friends, family, and those who don’t know her but have a big heart to help. Even in moments like these , if you cannot help financially, just a prayer will help as she has a long recovery mentally & physically.
